Witching Season

Thirty years ago, the town of Aurasburg was terrorized by a covey of hags based out of a nearby swamp. After years of terror punctuated by disappearances, unthinkable sacrifices, and the occasional gory murder, the townspeople finally cornered one of the hags (Rann) on her dilapidated boathouse and set it on fire. Groa the covey leader, retreated back into the swamp with bestial annis, known in local legend as Lonni Longshanks, all the while cursing the loss of her "littlest sister." Groa did not morn Rann's loss because of any attachment to the sea hag, but rather because of the loss of her own power caused by the breaking of her covey. Still Groa bided her time to exact revenge on the townsfolk, awaiting the day the perfect replacement would present herself.


A very brief description of a new campain about to start. I need to know if Friday nights or maybe Sundays work for people. I can start this campain the 23rd or the 25th. I know it is a holiday weekend. I need imput from the people who would like to play which would be a better day. This will be a D&D setting. Depending on what day is picked I will contact Daniel for his house or 2dgames as a back up.

I can't play, already in enough stuff and running takes up a lot of my time. I just wanted to say that your game sounds GREAT! Welcome aboard!

Hello all!

I have talked with Daniel about the use of his home and found Friday is the only option for his house. I see we have games on Sunday already. So Friday's it is. Starting on Friday the 23rd. We will begin playing. I have five confirmed players already seats are filling up fast if you want to play in a fast paced, ton of action game hurry up and respond. My cell is 813 918 5762 if you have any questions give me a call.

For those of you who are playing set up your stats this way please; roll 4d6 keep the highest three dice ALWAYS rerole a 1. Do this six times that will be your 1st ability line now do the same thing two more times. This will give you three separate ability stat lines. You can pick the best one of the three. You can place the stats in any order you want.When choosing race and class have fun use D&D books, no mags. No evil chars are allowed (be a DM if you like playing evil). I like to have my campaigns go from 1-epic levels, so you will all be level 1. Never fear I like to give exp and (like my new friend Chris says) LOOT out. You will be fighting anything and everything plants, animals, monsters, undead, dragons (many), drow, elementals, constructs, etc. etc. etc. All you have to do is pick your char. and show up. Once I have an understanding of what all the players are playing I will add quest's for each class along the way. Do not worry (YET) about weather it is temperate. Standard starting gear.

The plans are finalized and Wil's campaign starts on the 23rd at my house. We currently have 7 players, with an 8-player cap. If anyone else on the Meetup site is interested in joining in, please email or call me or Wil to let us know. I'm anticipating the game will run 6/7 to 10/12 or thereabouts, but Wil and I haven't discussed that one detail.
