Watertown Dungeons & Dragons and Illuminati Card Game Meetup

We play D&D (description below) for a couple or three hours each get together, blow off steam, eat some pizza and then play the Illuminati card game. Does not matter what rules you know or don't know , we can tailor things so that you will learn the basics easily. If you like another set of rules better, bring your ideas and we will make it work somehow.

1st Edition D&D Campaign set in Classical Greece at the start of the Delian League (c. 478 bc) as Persia is getting pushed back out of Greece by an emerging Athens. Athens & its allies are fighting the major battles, while the party is sent on Special Ops type missions to try and reclaim and liberate as many islands/cities/treas ures as possible before the Persians get their act together and realize that they have far more money and troops than the Greeks could ever muster.

The party consists of Athenians, Thracian Mercenaries, Egyptian Patriots, and others who wish to gain their freedom or perhaps just some additional power from the distracted "Barbarian" Persian Empire.

If you intend on or are thinking of playing, make sure you sign up on this page for regular briefings/announceme nts/updates.
