Saturday's run was loads of fun!
Chris (Aliana) and Nate did a "solo" run Saturday at the library's second floor west Mezzanine! Running all by herself. Aliana found a long forgotten and well hidden tomb. She found some great goodies and out witted some nasty creatures! Ask her for details! Wednesday Night we had a blast! Rob (Gin as a fighter), Jeff (Pallus), John (observing) and Nate picked up a the sewer where last Wednesday's run ended. The doughty duo discovered a secret underground passage! They followed the passage out of the city. They dealt with a vile bone creature and tracked a creature of Nurgle into the valley swampland. They found the dead creature, and no treasure! There's more, but you will have to ask the players for details! Where are those goodies? Join us next time and maybe we will find out? |

We had another good run Saturday afternoon!
Thanks to Dean for making the new place in the library a good place to game! Welcome to John who started a new character! John (Mike), Victoria (Harriet), Eric (Bufo), Robert (who observed) and Nate had fun! The party sought out a missing Scandian mushroom hunter named, Snorri! They fought a cyclops on the way to a cave in the escarpment. In the cave they found poor Snorri's remains, and some nasty creatures, too. They also found some odd blue mushrooms, some nice treasure, some money and some mysteries! John, the players gave Mike his share and a nice treasure pick. too. I think Eric has all the details. See you all next game! Edited by Nate on Aug 23, 2009 4:29 PM |

We had a good old time Wednesday night, 8-26-09!
Rob (Gin), Mark (Xavier), Jeff (Pallus), Robert (He started a new Scandian fighter, forgot his name), and Nate gathered at the President's room of the downtown library. The party was charged with avenging the death of a wealthy Argosean merchant. The party found a treasure map inside a turtle shell used to hold a canteen. They followed the map into the Great Necropolis and discovered the ruins of the ancient Temple of the Fang! The stalwart party fought and bested two groups of foes. The first was a party of Zulus and a mysterious thief! The second was a party of shipless Scandians. The adventure continues! See you all next game! |

Report on the run at the Mega Meetup on Saturday 8-29-09!
We had a great time Saturday! It was good to have Greg back at the table! Hoot Ranald! Neopolis has missed you! Greg McCall (Ranald, Champion of the Highlands), Victoria (Harriet), Mark (Xavier), Robert (Genjyo, the Scandian fighter), Tommy (Tomas the Joyous) , Jeff (Pallus), and Nate got together and had some fun! The party did some business, levelled up, and returned to the ancient temple of the Fang! Ranald and Harriet were key in locating a secret entrance! They found the ancient tomb of the Fang Priests, dealt with some nasty and unpleasant guardians, and located the means of entering the treasure trove of the Fang cult! Treasure was bountiful, experience plentiful, and the battles were heroic! Oh and there was some gold found too. See you all next game! Edited by Nate on Aug 31, 2009 5:19 PM |

The party went out to the blasted lands last Wednesday Night, 9-2-09!
Robert B (Gingygo), Chris (Aliana), Rob (Gin), Jeff (Pallus), Mark (Xavier) and Nate met at 6:00PM in the President's room of the Central library downtown. The players did some leveling and training, then some wheeling and dealing, before approaching Demeter for access to the Blasted Lands! Demeter provided them with a new gate location! The new location left them on a range of rocky Pinnacles at the edge of a vast dry plain. The party spied a cloud on the horizon and headed for it! On the way to the cloud, the party diverted to fight a large bipedal carnivore they some how mistook for a large chicken. The battle was long and fierce. Poor Gingygo was killed by "friendly fire" when Aliana began to sling fireballs at what they decided was a T. Rex. For me, the highlite of the adventure was the debate started when Xavier wanted to borrow the deceased Gingygo's kewl sword for the remainder of the adventure. Xavier's argument was eloquent and quite reasonable. But, the party unanimously denied the request! The huge dinosaur was dispatched after a hard fought and costly melee. We missed Harriet at this point. Everyone wondered if T. Rex really tastes like chicken? Only Harriet has the cooking skills necessary to make that determination possible! Not to mention that she would have shortend the time needed to dispatch the creature! The party packed away the late Gingygo, and proceeded to the crater now determined to be under the cloud. They did not answer the challenge offered by a large band of Zulus trudging to the same destination! The found the crater to be filled with water! The party then found some smoking black rock after dealing with a large and nasty water swelling creature that did not want them messing around in his water. The party then returned to Neopolis, where Gingygo was raised thanks to Alaina's connections with the Temple of Mitra. Ask the players for more details! What's next? Will they return to the blasted land to investigate the crater seen beyond the last one? It's up to the players! See you all next time! Edited by Nate on Sep 5, 2009 10:13 AM |

The Party returned to the Blasted Lands Saturday afternoon!
Victoria (Harriet), Jeff (Pallus), Tommy (Thomas the Joyous), Chris (Aliana), Robert B (Ginjgo), and Nate met at 1:00 PM on the Second Floor of the Central Downtown Library for the run! Todd visited us for a while it was good to see him again! This was a great turnout for a holiday Weekend. Thanks for coming gang! The players attended to some business, did some detail work and then ventured into the blasted lands with the assistance of Demeter Dimension Door! The party explored the second crater they saw last Wednesday night, but did not visit. They discovered the water filled crater was inhabited by huge unpleasant frogs! The frogs were dispatched and no one was swallowed! Poisonous giant snakes were found on a nest near the water. The snakes were harder to kill, but their lair contained more treasure than the frog pond crater! It appeared that at least two stalwart adventurers had not been as fortunate as the party at some previous time. Evidence of a fighter and a cleric were found. Does anyone remember Hrothgar Hairy Cheeks? Pallus has a hammer that claims it was once wielded by Hrothgar? Ask the players for more details! There was heavy duty experience, black smoking rock, kewl magical items (two "talking' weapons!) and some gold for everyone. What is next? It's up to the players! See you all next game! |

We had a great time Wednesdy Night!
Mark (Xavier), Rob (Gin), Robert b (Ginjyo), Brett (Observer), another guest, and Nate met in the President's room of the down town central library at 6:00 PM! The party decided to go to the blasted lands! Demeter provided them with a gate to Frog Mountain, and there they went! The party soon discovered that the Frog Mountain area had been visited several times before! There was no treasure there, but there were plenty of Zulus! Weighing risk (High) against reward (small) the party then decided to try another gate. Ask the players if you want more details. The returned to the gate visited last Saturday, and found some treasure! The fought trolls and an Ogre Magi successfully. The Magi fellow was loaded with goodies! The party returned in triumph! What's next? It is up to the players! See you all next time! |

Victoria (Harriet), Mark (Xavier), Robert B. (Ginjgo), & Nate met at the Central Public Library Saturday at 1:00 PM.
We had a great time. Harriet wanted to investigate the reason horses and other equines sicken and die when they are brought to the Great Western continent. Joined by Xavier and later on, Ginjgo, Harriet found that The Blue Lizard Lounge in the Forge district has stables located behind the Inn proper! The structure is very old, and has been "remodeled" many times. The stables are now a storage area, but they were definitely made for horses many years ago! The party then used the services of the very honest Ralph the Riverman to cross the river and investigate the ruins of the ancient fortress known as Chevy's Krak. Rafsooh the Raw had informed them that the orignal name of the Krak was the "Krak de Chevalier" or the fort of the horsemen in an ancient language. There they also found the remnants of ancient stables. They also found an ancient temple with a sacrificial well hidden below the ground. Descending the well shaft, they found treasure and a guardian! The stalwart party defeated the very tough guardian, and found some very nice stuff! The well was used by a warrior cult, and included some horsemen's weapons. You'll have to ask them about it for more details. After all it is their treasure! The party then returned to the great city and did some leveling. Then they settled down to wheeling and dealing after they identified, by way of Harriet's magic ring, the goodies! They are also wondering why the antiquities dealer Karnak is so interested in those incredibly ancient books they found? What's next! It is up to the players... See you all next time! |

Welcome to Brett & Donny!
We gathered in the library at 6:00PM. We had to use an alternate location as our usual room was occupied! Actually I liked the place we gamed better than our regular location. The light was better and the table more comfortable as everyone could reach the battle matt. Mark (Xavier), Rob (Gin), Robert (Ginjgo), Donny (Thurg), Brett (Martel), and Nate got rolling after the established PC's found two Scandian lads wandering in the Wharf district. After some negotiations and some bartering, the party set off to the Northern highlands to investigate a falling star?! Instead of a fallen star, our stalwart adventurers found a trail of burned brush, some burned wood, two angry, nasty unknown creatures, and some extraordinary and very kewl treasure! The party was approached by a band of Highlanders as they were busy searching the ashes and the late creatures. The party and the Highlanders disagreed about the the highlanders claim that the goodies belonged to them as the land they fell upon was their clan's land. Rather than negotiate, the party attacked the Highlanders and killed all but one, an eight year old child. There's more, but you will have to ask the players for the details! See you all next time! |

Saturday afternoon's run! 9-19-09...
Victoria (Harriet), Mark (Xavier), Robert B (Ginjgo) and Nate met on the Second Floor Mezzanine of the downtown central library Saturday afternoon! Harriet did some more detective work. She found out some interesting facts from Zamzam about Ratmen and about Orcs! The party then sought out the infamous Bobbo, who was rumored to be the intown agent for Shagrat the Swamp Orc King! They found him at the Pig & Mug Inn in the citadel District. Bobbo was not exactly a font of knowledge, but the party did pry some facts out of him. You'll have to ask Harriet or Xavier for more details. The party then went into the swamp and encountered two large war bands of orcs! They dealt with both war bands, and found them to be short of magic, but oddly long on gold! You will have to ask the party for details, after all it is their treasure! See you all Wednesday Night! |
