Another good session for the weeknight crew. The game was fun and the pizza good.

Two players leveled up, the world of the Isles was visited, as were Igor's Tower and Set land.

Several nasty critters were eliminated.

Kewl treasures, including some interesting magical items, were obtained.

Kiefer got a large lizard with a big bite, and finally found his dinosaur. He also lurked at the threshold of Death's Door, but was rescued from the brink of the abyss by the doughty Carantus! Gotta watch out for those vegetable critters.

The next Neopolis games will be at 1:00 PM next Saturday at the Central Library, and 6:00 PM next Wednesday night at Chris's apartment! Check the calendar for details.

See you all then.

Another childhood friend of Carantus, Harriet, and Dillon has come to Neopolis to find his fortune! Argos is apparently a hot bed of young people wanting to find fate, money, and maybe some fame in the Great City of the Western Continent!

It was a good day for the new character!

Char took a task from Pulgh, put the Kay-bosh on a Scandian Freelancer, discovered a hidden chamber is Pulgh's new "Safe House," and found his trade's Guild Hall!

Char, Kiefer, and Dillon took a, "Magic Carpet Ride" to Igor's Tower and borrowed the gate there. They took a trip to the world of sand, and found some interesting stuff under the mark of the "Eater of Worlds."

Who is this "Eater of Worlds" who left his mark on so much? Is/Was he/she/it the animated corpse in the desert tomb? If not, where is he? Why did he leave all those kewl and valuable things in a hole in the desert?

Drop by the next session and we may find out! After all it is up to the players...

The pizza was good, but the game was better. Another good gaming session!

What will the players do next?

I think Kiefer and Carantus want to go big lizard hunting!

It is up to them. Drop by and join in next session.

Saturday's game was a busy one!

The new thief, Char, leveled up! After negotiating some problems between two temples, Char was loaned out by Pulgh the Provident to a capo in distress, learned too much about Primo the Punk, survived attempted two hits by a rival mob, made a hit of his own, negotiated a peace between the two warring factions, and made a very successful business arrangement with the Stygian godfather. Eric played well and Char benefited!

Keifer and Char then rescued the remains of the ancestors of Zandra the Zad from oblivion, captured a gang of bandits and tomb robbers led by Fatty, formerly of Eustace the monk and company, and returned the tomb plunder to Zandra. There is nothing so fine as the gratitude of a witch woman, is there Keifer?

Will the players journey through a gate to hunt dinosaurs?

Will they seek out the mage with horns who plagued the dreams of Caantus?

Will they try to figure out who or what the Eater of worlds is or was?

What about the minions of Set? They sure have been quiet for a while...

Saturday's game was another busy one!

The players journeyed to the blasted lands via the arrangements of Mortimer.

They discovered a lost tribe of Zulus, and managed to rile them up.

They also roughed up a nasty looking fellow who managed to get away from them.

They recovered an item for Mortimer and did some hunting for back rock. They even found some!

They also raided a temple of some snake deity and recovered Mortimer's lost artifact!

Poor Carantus lost a new toy, but may be able to get it back.

What is on the board for Wednesday night?

It's up to the players!

Wednesday night was good session!

We had a new thief enter the fray. Argos is sending young folks to Neopolis at a surprising rate!

The players had dinner with aunt Agatha of the Klan Kharook, met a disident member of the clan Pellargo, and expored the area around Igor's Tower.

Dramond and maybe Cornvan will be interested to known that Cuthbert might just be willing to sell the Way Lands in the Great Valey. We all know that money talks.

There is also a request for help and a promise of reward from Gregomar. He needs a party to rescue a noble friend from an iron cage...

What will the players do Saturday? It's up to them!

Saturday’s game was exciting and very eventful!

The four players returned to the blasted lands on behalf of the Temple of the Toad. Our new theif went up a level, too.

It seems that the minions of Set took the temple the adventurers recently sacked from the toad cult long ages ago! The toads remembered exactly what was taken, but sort of forgot exactly where in space and time that temple was!

Fortunately for the minions of the Toad, the party found their lost temple last week, even if they didn’t know that is what it was!

The party slew some demons, found some kewl hidden treasure, destroyed a vile roper, discovered an extensive cavern complex under the blasted lands, and returned with out any casualties! Not a bad afternoon at all.

They also found a hidden lair near Igor’s Tower and dispatched a dangerous Troll.

Next time, will they Take on the rescue of “The Khan,” go back to the blasted lands, or try something completely different?

It is up to them. Drop by and see what happens!

The Khan is free!

The party freed the wrongfully imprisioned Khan of Zazak, and sent him home to his people.

The evil horned mage of Korn was driven from his lair in the Great Necropoilis, and 3 of his foul minions dispatched.

That is quite a lot to accomplish on a Wednesday night!

Harriet and Keefer used their Ranger Skills well, Carantus used a new skell with great efffctiveness, and Shamus climbed walls like a monkey!

What is Next? Join us and find out!

A representative of the Tomb Builders' Guild appears at the temple of
Neptune. He is courteous and very formal. He asks to speak to
Carantus. When Sweet Billy informs the "Tomber" that Carantus is out
(I rolled a very high number) the tomber leaves a message written on
papyrus.

The message reads,

"The recent collapse of a ancient and forgotten tomb in the Great
Necropolis was seen by many as a sign from the gods. The guild began
to salvage the stone from the collapsed temple for the construction of
the new tombs so much in demand by the public these days. The guild
was surprised to find a vast cavern below the collapsed tomb. The
walls of the cavern are compsed of stone. Due to the demand for new
tombs by the public the Guild Masters plan to harvest the stone of the
cavern for more tomb construction. Our important work for the public
good was abruptly ended when all the Guildsmen and laborers working on
this vital public project disappeared as did their guards. The guild
petitions you to help us discover the reason for their disappearance
and to return them to their homes and loved ones."

Will Carantus accept the task? Drop by Saturday and find out!

Fantastic Game on Saturday afternoon!

The party tracked down both of the missing Guild Journeymen, explored some amazing subterranean passages, and stopped an evil necromantic plot!

The load of treasure obtained is impressive and the players are dividing it up on line via neopolisnotes on Yahoo Groups.

Thanks to his bow work on a foul beast of darkness and other vile un-natural creatures, Shamus went up two levels!

Harriet saved the party bacon on a least two separate occasions.

Kepher led the charge more times than I can remember!

Carantus wheeled, dealed, spelled, and laid about with his weapon in a most successful and favorable manner! His turn undead effort single handedly kept a horde of Zombies from crashing a party!

Will the favor of the Tomb Builders’ Guild be useful in the future?

Knowing the power and dedication of the party will they ask for further aide?

What does the future hold for our stalwart adventurers?

It’s up to them! Drop by and see how the plot unfolds.
