Saturday was another good game!
Dramond, Char, Carantus, Lucian, Khepher, and Harriet made trips to the Blasted Lands, and scarfed up some serious smoking black rock! They ran into some bad news critters and bad guys, but came out all right in the end. Lucian is working on the ancient Valley script with the help of Elwood, Dramond's magic sword. Zeno Belset has emerged from his studies and is translating some books for the party. What's next? It's up to the players, come by the game and join in on the fun! |

Khepher, Carantus, & Lucian have finally removed the Scandian
raiders from the Isle of the Sea Kings! They even let one live to tell the Tale! The people of the Isle are very happy with this, and even more pleased that the heroes did not accept their offers of wives from their young women. If anyone is curious about the events of Wednesday night, ask Khepher, Carantus, Lucian, or old Lucky Lief, helmsman of the Oaken Bucket. He's sworn to stay in Neopolis and not make any more side trips for mere filthy lucre. The previously quiet Temple of the Toad has begun to hold large, impressive processions in the streets centered around a model of a human skull some how cut from rock crystal! The irreverent refer to it as the "Skull on a stick" but true believers have other notions... The number of pale and pasty young people clad in black increases and the body of a Scandian fish cleaner was found floating by the cloaca maxima with two odd punctures in his neck. Mortimer has built a baffle in front of the mysterious door in his chambers. What's next? It's up to the players and the dice! Come by the game and join in on the fun! The players went through the Neptune Temple Gate to a mysterious tropical land Saturday. They found a flock of Kahdoo birds, dinosaurs and a sphinx. They put a dent in to the snakeman population, and found some interesting treasure.
What's next? The mysterious pallid youths in Neopolis? Set's Land? The Blasted Lands? What's Elop up to? What has Happened to the demon blade of Skrag the Slayer? Drop by next Wednesday or Saturday and see what happens next! Edited by Nate on Oct 2, 2008 10:20 AM |

The players found the lost monastery of the Lesser Ellaleep, and the 3 rd station of the Dark path Wednesday night!
There was some frantic combat with some pretty nasty undead creatures. Poor Lucian broke his sword in hand to hand battle with a terrible apparition. Khepher collapsed during a violent melee. It took a cleric of Mitra to awake him! What's next? Drop by Saturday and see! |

We had another great Saturday afternoon of D&D.
Lucian has decided that scraping that black nasty stuff from the middle of the magic Vampire seeking javelin from the Temple of the Way was not a very good idea! The party found a hidden tomb where in a famous stolen sword was hidden. The guardian of the Ghost Sword of the Lawgivers did not cheerfully surrender his stolen goods! The players triumphed over evil, but were panicked by a second and older resident of the tomb! Who knows what that black whirlwind was and where did it go? A Second stolen object was recovered from a long forgotten sacred well. The location was infested by an ettercap and a crew of nasty large spiders! The spidery guardians were not as much trouble as what ever it was in that sarcophagus, and they were dealt with! What's next? It's up to the players! Drop by and see what they do! We have room for a couple of more players, email Nate if you are interested. |

The recently liberated Vampire, Yorga, has ceased to trouble the people of Neopolis with his foul plot of degenterate enslavement of the city's youth! Thanks to Khepher, Carantus, and Lucian for their bold and cunning actions to stop that menace.
The magic javelin is again encurmbered by the foul black blobs. Khepher, Carantus, and Lucian now have to determine what they will do with Yorga's tower? It has no doors or windows, so do they make a door at street level? Even more pressing is the problem of what may be 4 ancient iron golems hidden away inside mud filled caves in the escarpment, waiting for what? What's next? It is up to the players! Drop by Saturday and join in |

The players found "Eagle Beak Peak" in Sphinx Land. They found the sacrificial site, hidden treasure, undead guardians, a hidden passage, an underground river, an obscene shrine and some magic weapons!
Oops, I forgot to mention the gold. There is still a whirlpool to investigate, an unknown creature with mayhem on its mind and the source of the river to discover in Sphinx Land. Allen started a new character, a tough female cleric of Venus, who was able to level up after one adventure! She also found a very nice two handed hammer and was loaned some kewl "armor" by her childhood friends from Argos. Lucian found some magic weapons to drool over. He was very disappointed that Dramond didn't make it as he wanted to borrow Elwood. Char has some nice gold to cherish, too. What's next? Drop by the game and see! The players were a step behind the bad guys for most of Wednesday night's game. They caught up with a vile demon bearing a big, bad sword and bested him after a long hard chase in the Great Valley.
Khepher, Lucian and Carantus got a lesson in the dangers of trying to destroy intelligent weapons without high powered help. Carantus almost lost his beloved war hammer to the call of the "dark side!" All three players were sorely tempted by offers of treasure, but ended up turning the infested hammer over the Leon the Hermit, master exterminator. What happened to the four giant Iron Golems? What is that critter in the underground river? Where does that river go? Who summoned that demon, and why? Where did all those minotaurs go? Where is their lair? Is there treasure in the cavern complex in the escarpment? Drop by Saturday after and see! |

The players went through The gate in Carantus's room to the arctic land and found it full of ice, snow, bitter cold, mystery and adventure!
There were some very tough critters there, they had to be to live in that sub-zero environment, but dealt with them and found some very nice treasure! Carantus, Lucian, & Khepher worked well together. Carantus saved Khepher's bacon with some very timely healing one more time! Lucian found a very unusual great sword that talks to him constantly, and also has a short sword that gives him some very aggressive advice! What is next? It's up to the players. Join in Wednesday and find out! |

This Wednesday Night was an exciting session! The players found an old friend, Fatty the Thug, in the thrall of some unknown "Boss" when they sought our an item fro Kharnack the wealthy antiquities dealer. They dealt with a hideous undead creature and were amply rewarded for their efforts and the risks they took. Khepher was very pleased with a nice sword!
Carantus led the party into the Blasted lands via a portal or two in Mortimer's chambers. Alas they were preceded by rapacious Scandians who appeared to scoop up the goodies with amazing efficiency. Lucian did get to tangle with a minotaur! The party did find some smoking black rock, and made some good deals with Mortimer. Khepher was pleased with some potions he traded for! What's next? Drop by Saturday and see! |
