We had a good time Saturday! Khepher and Lucian also racked up some serious gold and treasure as well as some good experience. They even divided up all those magic items with no real bloodshed!

The dynamic duo put paid to a junior vampire, and got a vision of the Ugly Old Vampire's lair, maybe?

They confirmed that Osirotep is the name of the evil what-ever in the swamp. They even acquired his snow white tombstone. You can see it in the Garden of Neptune if you want. It is glorious, but it does make the garden a bit, er, crowded.

Khepher and Lucian also have discovered that Wadi Waffin has an interest in Osirotep, but have not taken that clue any further? Wonder what old Wadi is up to?

Fatty has disappeared? and all wonder at his fate.

The dynamic duo also made it out to Igor's Tower and stopped a big rusty Iron Golem in his tracks. They think the golem was reconstructing Osirotep's ancient temple or was it a palace? I wonder if we will ever know?

They did know that they killed two demonic creatures and almost slew a hideous demonic beast called of all things, "The Purple People Eater!"

The beast barely escaped the fight with its twisted life and now lurks in the forest around Igor's Tower playing wild crazy music through a horn in its head. It's last words were, "You can't kill me, cause I'm too tough." At least no minotaurs have been seen since the purple creature took up residence in the woods around the tower.

What's next? It is up to the players! See you Wednesday night!

Excellent run Wednesday Night! A new thief was introduced, Khepeher came very close to leveling up, another chain golem was destroyed, the purple people eater slain, and Osirotep thwarted in his nefarious plans! We all had fun, what more could you want?

The party found that Osirotep is a canny and careful opponent. He is also very persistent. What's next in the long war on Osirotep?

The old ugly one still haunts the streets of Neopolis, taking a victim a night. When will this night terror be stopped?

What is happening in the blasted lands? rumor has it that Mortiner is getting less and less smoking black rock?

Does Pavoratti have anything to do with the lack of rock?

Are the Scandians letting old Mortimer down?

What's next? It is up to the players! See you Saturday afternoon!

Saturday afternoon's run was fun!

The players yielded to the siren song of smoking black rock and went to the blasted lands!

As usual, they cleaned up.

They found an enormous croc-o-gator, trolls and even some demonic creatures, including a bizarre flesh golem!

There was plenty of black rock to go around, but they found that Pavoratti is not the wheeler-dealer that Mortimer usually is. The two are just not in the same league!

What's next? It is up to the players! See you Wednesday evening!

Wednesday Night was a great session. Good friends, good pizza, and good D&D! What more could we want?

Thanks for the hospitality, Chris

The players tracked down the kidnapped Heracles the smith, and left him pounding iron for the orcs!

They did track an iron golem transporting finished chain and other iron bits to a still unknown destination. Their presence at the under-water transfer point has sealed that route to where-ever off.

The party is cramping Osirotep in a big way. A marauding Mosasaur was an indication of his displeasure, but it was dealt with in an efficient combat!

The party also did some wheeling and dealing with Grishnak, a orc of questionable loyalties. They found that the orcs of the Great Valley are lead by a big bad orc named Shagrat.

They found several of this Shagrat's empty camp sites, and a mysterious and hazardous tunnel leading deep into the north escarpment wall.

What's next? It is up to the players! See you Saturdays afternoon!

The players continued their search for the missing Sword smith Saturday afternoon. They didn't find him, but they dealt harshly with a large pack of sharp toothed wolves and put paid to a tomb trap laid by the cunning Osirotep.

Where is that darned Osirotep?

Wadi Waffin had his ever outstretched palm crossed with Lucian's gold, and did some outstanding work.

Char didn't die!

Khepher lost the trail of a vaporous vampire, leader of the late wolf pack. What's next? What will the Ugly Old Vampire Itachi pull out of his blood sucking hat?

Carantus did a lot of healing! Again he pulled a lot of fat from the fire of battle on behalf of the party.

What's next? It is up to the players! See you Wednesday evening!

Heracles rescued!

The missing sword smith was rescued at last Wednesday Night!

The party had to cut their way through a wall of orcs before they we able to free the long lost Heracles. One of Shagrat's orc warbands is no more!

They also had to deal with golems of at least two types before they determined the destination of missing bodies from the city. Hmmm, raw material for flesh golem or vampire? What a question!

The party, especially Khepher, was been harassed by an odd and large baboon like monkey with very bad toilet habits. The nasty thing even followed them to town!

Luican seems to think the big monkey lead Kehpher into an ambush by a vicious three headed wolf. If it did that is some monkey!

Carantus was bedeviled by dreams of numbers of wolves on the move. Wonder what that portends.

The ugly agent Bobbo has met the party and proven to be a real deal maker. He gave a good trade for a big "Demon Bottle" and the, er, other demon "confinement" device.

What's next? It is up to the players! See you Saturday afternoon!

Saturday's Meetup was a real hoot. We missed Derek and send him our best get well wishes!

Three games, free snacks (thanks Dean!), the usual Saturday afternoon suspects, and Steve came back by to say hello!

The party tracked down another "young" vampire Saturday. This "Newly Made" Vampire was terrorizing the Stygian quarter. The Stygian Godfather, ever alert to the safety of the inhabitants of his people, gave the job of seeking out three of his missing boys to Char, who took Carantus along just in case. The dynamic duo used some considerable cunning to entrap the Vampire, but they had a hell of a time putting him out of action. They traced him to an ancient tomb and ended his vile reign of terror in the Stygian Quarter with the Vampire seeking javelin.

At this point, Khepher joined the team, retrieved his javelin, (Char had not set a good example in this regard) and the party embarked on a search for more missing people or their bodies!

They found them, and they also found an extensive network of tunnels dug by Rat men! They found some smoking black rock and a quantity of gold! Where did that come from?

What 's next? You'll have to drop by Wednesday night to find out.

Carantus leveled up!

We had a great time Wednesday night. Good pizza, a good game, and great fun! Thanks to Chris for being a gracious host!

Khepher and Carantus went to a new place through Mortimer's Gate. They found it to be a dismal place, inhabited by really bad news undead.

They used their portable magic tower for security, and found it bat proof. They found an ancient pyramid, with an impressive demonic guardian.

They also defeated a skeletal cyclops, some Scandian zombies, and a nasty skeletal saber toothed tiger-cat for some substantial experience.

The Dynamic Duo did find some smoking black rock!

What's next? You'll have to drop by Saturday afternoon to find out!

We had a great time at the Neopolis table Saturday!

Ryan started a new character, a Cimmerian Cleric of Crom, named Tully. Khepher finally has another Cimmerian to adventure with, and a cousin in town to boot. Tully quickly discovered that the Temple of Crom in Neopolis needs a lot of work and a large infusion of cash would help! Crom is a rather indifferent diety and it takes much to gain his notice.

Megan also started a new character, a fighter of illegitimate birth from Kemet, named Isis. Isis showed herself to be a doughty fighter, and shed the persona of her childhood experiences as a goose-girl quickly.

Khepher, after establishing himself as a Male Chauvinist Pig, was very generous with the new characters, and loaned them both extremely nice weapons. In Isis's case, he loaned her two very nice ones. I was impressed with Kepher's continuing generosity after his first loaner was broken in Melee!

Char was also very generous loaning armor to Isis, who cheerfully accepted the magical nose ring Tully had scorned as a bit gauche for his tastes.

The party struggled with the eternal question for player characters, greed or public service, but eventually reached a compromise.

Following their altruistic faction, the party discovered a vile subterranean workshop in the Great Necropolis. They promptly discovered that it was producing foul undead for the use of some undeniably evil purpose. They didn't do too badly in the treasure department during the project.

The party then went after the Temple above the clouds. They found it in a pile at the bottom of the valley. There they terrified and halted a magic user and killed his really bad news mount who evidently had the same idea. The fearful magic user paid them a ransom and left the scene.

Char reported the distant call of crows or ravens at the time, caw, caw, but this was unconfirmed, even denied, by other members of the party.

The party then discovered two openings in the solid face of the escarpment and explored them. There they met and destroyed some very bad things, a mastodon man, a crystal golem, the long dead mummy of a giant, a demonic creature judged to resemble a rooster, and others. For their efforts they were rewarded with oodles and gobs of very nice stuff!

The two new characters were able to gain enough experience, with the help of the more experienced characters, to each level up twice!

What's next? It is up to the players! See you all next Wednesday night!

The Thanksgiving holiday games were fantastic! Good fun, good runs, plenty of good food, and plenty of thrills!

Wednesday night's run at Dean's house was a feast. Cheese cake, little smokies, chocolate covered pastry and pizza!

In Wednesday night's run, ran like the dynamic duo of the comic books! Khepher and Tully eliminated a vampire and put an end to the violent career of a nasty minotaur. Don't worry, Dorian, it was not Dramond's nemesis!

Saturday's run was even more eventful! Brent introduced a new character, an Argosean Thief named "Ace." he had another name, but it was easier to call the character Ace. Inevitably the Argosean moved in with the well known and notoriously prosperous Carantus.

Khepher, Carantus, Ace, and Ranald Found a Vampire, lost a vile cleric, and tracked down a veritable nest of undead guarding Flesh golem makings! The got some impressive treasure, too.

They also have some things to ponder!

What's next? It is up to the players! See you all next Wednesday night!
