Are you a DM looking to start a new game? Here is what you need to do:

- Make a post on this thread describing your game idea, things to include are:
- Type of game, how many players, ect.
- Where you want to meet at (it is highly recommended you start meeting at the Mega meet ups).
- What times are you going to normally meet.
- Schedule a face to face meet up even if its just one person at a time, you will need to develop momentum, its highly unlikely 4 or 5 people will shoot out to join your game without meeting you first. Again, I recommend using the weekend Mega Meet up if possible, but you can meet up anywhere you like.
- Ask the organizers about any questions you have and ask them to schedule meet ups for you.
- Be flexible, patient and persistent, most people in the meet up only check the message board once a week or once every two weeks.

Thank you and Good Luck! We love our DMs/GMs here!

I've been itchin to start a 3.5 campaign. However I'm in the Eastern edge of KC and find it a little difficult to make it to the library all the time. I have another offer to do something, but I'd rather stick with this meetup, I've met some nice people here. I also have a Future game I created, a lot of my friends found fun back home. In fact I still send game updates to a friend who is now in Idaho. I can email the game to anyone who is interested, I'm distributing it free. Anyone who has an interest in future science, tech, Issac Asimov, black hole theory, and space batlles could find an interest in the game. I'll try to make it to more Saturday meets.
AKA- I Can DM! I Like the Role Play, I Like to BOOGIE!(not really, I like goth trance, darkwave)

Thats ok, just use the message board to let everyone know what you are interested in and where you want to do it. Then set up a meet up with interested people, you can set up a meet up any where and we will post it on the site.

Since I suddenly find myself with a great deal of unexpected time on my hands, I've decided to start DMing a regular game of 4E Forgotten Realms. The one catch is that I already play at the Saturday meetups, so another time/place would need to be determined - Sundays or any weekday night would be great. I'm especially interested in getting something going in Johnson County, since I know we have some players who have difficulty getting all the way downtown every week.

I'd like to keep it to 5 or at most 6 players. The style would be a mix of combat and intrigue, leaning more towards the former at early levels. Rules would be standard 4E and the various published supplements. Oh, and in keeping with the spirit of the new Realms, the players will be the stars - not the NPCs. You won't be hauling Elminster's luggage!

Interested players can message me or swing by the Mega Meetups on Saturday afternoon to talk in person. Ideally I'd like to get this underway within a couple of weeks!

I have some cool ideas for 4E games...one set in Egypt, one that's like Castlevania, and an Oriental Adventures setting. I'm not sure how good I'd be as DM, but I'm willing to give it a try if anyone's interested.

Hi, my name is Larry and I have been running D&D games for what seems like forever! I have not too very long ago started a new 3.5 game. The problem is, I've only got 3 players, and two of them are playing 2 characters each in order to increase survival. I'm in desperate need of a couple of new players to join the fun. I tend to run a heroic game, with magic aplenty and danger to spare.

I run my game in south kc, near the Ward Parkway mall, and would love to meet up sometime with some interested parties. I do have a confession however. Me and my group are families and we have small children that are at the game with us. My wife tends to corral the kids to some degree, but with all the activities going on the table, the little people are naturally interested. Not only that, but we do have other obligations (school, sick kids and the like) which can disrupt the schedule from time to time.

I do try to make sure that all party members are involved in the game, and the players are the stars to be sure, but with so few, I'm doing more work trying to keep the NPC's straight than I am seeing to keeping the game interesting.

Please feel free to email me at wiffle@swbell.net if you are interested or would like more info.

Greetings fellow gamers!

The name's Ben, and I'm actually an 'old' face returned to the KC DnD group after a brief hiatus.. I played a few games with Todd, Steve and Nate early 2008, if they can remember that far back. I actually showed up to last week's Saturday session at the Central Library with two friends of mine, Scott and Jorge. It was nice to see so many games in action!! Anyways, we've been gaming together on and off for the past few years, and they're both interested in starting a new campaign.

Scott has volunteered to GM a 3.5 game (with some homebrew rules), and so far all Jorge and I have done is generate some characters and discuss our backgrounds and the basic premise of the campaign with Scott. So, with that said, I think we already have two more players joining our ranks. Not sure if Scott wants more than four PC's, but I'm pretty sure he'd be open to having at least one or two more join up with us, if anyone is interested!!

So, we plan on being there bright and early (11ish hehe!!) on Saturday morning.. look for the weird-looking 30+ year old guys lurking in the corner if you're interested in joining up (ya, I know that description probably won't help much). Final decisions are up to Scott, of course, since he'll be running the game! If there's enough interest, maybe we could actually start up two games, who knows?? I'll check back here throughout the week, so post away..
