20 years ago would have been on the cusp of 2nd Edition, did you ever migrate across to the newer edition?

Things have certainly changed since then. What sort of setting do you like (FR, Greyhawk, DL, Generic)? And do you prefer rules or is less better for you?

Hello Feel really out of touch with the gaming stuff. Version one D&D was the order of the day when I last played.....(Still got my figures and DM Guide.....)

Played some online stuff (Stormreach) but need some gentle help. You just lose touch as you start a family and a career (me and the Missus are nurses) etc.

My eldest boy is a fan of online fantasy. Would love to be helped back as I had some great times in the past.

Does anyone run 'Discworld' influenced stuff?

Alas, I've never even seen a Discworld game, although I do believe that there is a GURPS version .

If you want to chat inanely about gaming (and I hope you do), you should introduce yourself on the other board, as it gets more attention and we want to move players interested in chatting there. This thread is really for people who sign up here wanting to advertise for a group and for making arrangements.

I am free to join a game if a DM wants to set one up. I have the 4th edition books but have an understanding of all the editions.
