Hello gamers,
Wanted to know if there's anyone interested in meeting up this weekend to network and get a group game going. I'm in SF and currently looking for a game during the weekends since my group decided to run their games on the weekdays. I'm open to all editions except 4.0 since i have resources from previous editions. If there's enough replies and interests i'll be setting something up for a one shot game. Contact me via this meetup. Thanks and hope to see some of you gamers reply. - jet |

Hello gamers,
A group is forming to meet this coming thursday in SF. Those interested are welcome to meet and greet at Borders near the ballpark on 3rd St. and King. We will meet at the RPG section at 8:30pm where discussions on what games, options, and in general network to form a group. Ideally we want to establish, but not limited to, a weekend game using 3.5v or maybe even try Pathfinder. If you can't make this meet and greet, do post here anyways to make known that you are interested and we'll send you some info or contacts to get you into a game. Hope to see some of you there. Newbies and Dms(experienced as well as first timers) are most welcome! -jet |

Wow, that Borders is right down the street from where I work. I've been watching your posts for a while...but unfortunately, I'm just not interested in playing 3rd Edition any more. If something happens to get rolling around 4E, I might participate, if the time and date are right.

Heya Barry, No worries and stop by anyway cuz there's way enough people looking for 4e and you guys can get together and start up a game. This was just a way to get people to actually go attend face to face and not reply by post which i find nothing ever happens afterwards. Since you are nearby, it won't kill you to take a peek. This is after all an interactive social game and not a computer game, hahaha. Hope to see you there. - jet |

Hello Gamers,
First of all, a big thumbs up for those who participated in the meet and greet yesterday. Thank you very much for showing and actually meeting other gamers in the city, and surprisingly, even from Alameda and San Leandro! I believe this was a success from the original conception of three people networking cuz from my head count of 10 people, we have formed three groups, maybe even a fourth. We have two groups forming 4e, thanks to Peter N. and James/Jim?(sorry bout the name). Correct me if i'm wrong in this guys. Your games will be running during the weeknites in SF, if anyone else is interested in joining their groups(don't know for sure if there's a max limit) contact them in the SF D&D Meetup website under their respective names. If you have difficulty, let me know and i'll try to follow up. We also have a group playing Pathfinder. Currently, there are four people and wouldn't mind a 5th. If you have dm experience that would be sweet but not mandatory. Again, same as above if you need to get in touch with that group. Finally, there was interest in other game systems, like Gurps for example, so, for those options, best to come to a follow up meet and greet coming soon. Hope i didn't miss anything out. -jet |

Hello Gamers,
Well, it seems the meet and greet was a hit. There will be a group playing this sunday which is tomorrow at noon in SF. I apologize for the short notice. It will be an intro to Forgotten Realms and the venue is at Dolores and 17th St. in a coffehouse called Maxfield's. There will be other games but the best way to get in one is to stop by and network. We have resources that people can exchange info so anyone is free to stop by or better yet get in a game. -fire |

Hello Gamers,
With alot of people looking for games in SF, we finally have one Pathfinder specific game forming and meeting this weekend. Currently, the head count for the group is a max of 5 people. This may or may not change as we plan to rotate dms so we don't burn each other out. Anyone interested or have any questions, feel free to post here and hopefully we can answer them for you. We also network with others playing various games and systems. So, despite the slow start, we hope to keep this goin and maybe you can be a part of it. Roll your save and add that charisma bonus! -jet |

Sorry I didn't make it - I actually ended up working from home that Thursday. I'll try hitting up the GMs, find out a bit more about the times, locations, and play styles!
