Ok here are the Treasure Bundles:
A. Staff of Expansion +1 B. Symbol of Turning +1 C. Amulet of Mental Resolution +1 D. Staff of Light +1 E. Ritual Scroll of Skull Watch F. Alchemical Book of Beastbane G. Any 3rd level of less magical item from Adventurer's Vault Or Extra 25 gp and a healing potion Or extra 75 gp You all receive 560 XP and 100 gp. -------------------------------------- It was a pretty straight forward adventure, but too light on exploration and rushed the combats near the end. I'd probably won't run this one again (first adventure Ive said that). |

I actualy wish I could go back and play this one again with my Sorcerer as when I played this the first time with her and didn't really understand all of the ins and out of the class. The ability to have a 50% chance of a saving throw after an attack would have helped a lot in the last encounter with that zone.

I had a great time everyone! Thanks for the hospitality Erik! Lots of fun interactions in the first hour. I'll have to dust off the thespian in me for the next event.
That last encounter was a bit on the cheese side. What was so tough about the zone was that if you missed the save when it first attacked you, even if you were able to shake off the effects subsequently, it attacked you again at the beginning of your next turn. This really made pacing an issue and took some of the heroics out of the encounter. Once we got around the movable tar pit of doom, the big bad was a wimpus! After all, I felt encounter 2 was much more difficult. Those rats were tough! |

P.S.
Here's my journal entry for anyone who wants to include it or have a base of text to doctor for their Character Builder file. TYMA 1-5 FROM ONE DWARF TO ANOTHER We traveled to the town of Ruinspoke in Tymanther, a small town of Dragonborn and mixed-race merchants, where we were given a task of locating a lost, gruff dwarf named Melnar from his partner and fellow Gem Assayers' Union member, Dirnth. After finding clues to his whereabouts, including a piece of fine onyx and a description of purple-cloaked strangers, we made our way to an ancient crypt. There we were confronted by a digger, a lash, and some rot hounds. We then entered the crypt and nearly died ridding the first level of several giant rats, a handful of dire rats, and two rat swarms. We made it out alive, disarmed the rune-sealed door, and took an extended rest. At first light, we entered the main chamber where a necromancer and several undead - two zombies and many hellish hounds - were no match for our guile. However, the necromancer did have a wand that greatly impeded our progress. After dispatching with that evil, we saved Melnar - who was set to be sacrificed to a dark god in hopes of resurrecting the evil. TYMA 11: APPRETIATION OF THE GEM ASSAYERS' UNION We gained favor among the Gem Assayers' Union for our actions in Ruinspoke. This influence extends throughout Faerun. |
