Bucks County

Hey there, I am a long time dice-roller of 10+ years off and on playing with the same group for most of that time and we decided after a 3 year vacation that we would like to start playing again. We are all in our mid to late 20's and are causal role players who are very laid back and like to have alittle fun while playing (an a few beers aswell).

We are looking for a few people to join our little group of 5 players in or around the area. A place to play is not a problem for us and we plain on having our games on sundays round 4-8pm (the time is not set in stone but the day is at this point).

Now normally I run the games for the group but I am looking to take a brake and enjoy playing a game for once. Now we do have someone who maybe interested in running a game but at this point we are not too sure due to his work schedule. With that being said we would like to find at least one person who would not mind running a game for us if our buddy cant come through and of course wouldnt mind just being a player if he does. We would like to play in a Forgotten Realms Setting using either the 3.0 or 3.5 rule set.

If anyone is interested in joining up please let me know. We also like to get to know any new commers to the group so a small bio would be appreciated. (we dont want your life story, just a little info on who you are to make sure your not a creep or anything. An on your gaming experence, We take newbs so if you have none no worries)

I am looking to play on Sundays. I have been playing FR for ...Too many years. I love the world setting. I am a pretty laid back player I am into role playing and hacking away on somthing fun. D & D is a great way to be sociable. I have been both player and D M. I am just looking to play for now.When do you plan on starting your game? What level?

We've found a DM, so that wont be a problem anymore. An the bonus of our buddy being the Dungeon Master is that he has alot of experence with FR so were in for a good game. We got two places to play, both the DM's place and mine. We'll switch back and forth from time to time. An we are looking to start the game at level 1. It'll be a nice fresh start for us all whom have grown rusty over the years. It looks like that we're going to be playing sundays around 3-4pm weekly for about 3-4 hours. We dont have a date just yet but were working on it.

That sounds great. I am glad to be starting at 1st level. It is a pain to construct a PC and crank it up to a different level.

Any word on the FR 3.5 Game?

we had a influx of players suddenly join the campaign, people we didn't expect to see again quite frankly. but i would still check back from time to time cause these guys are known for dropping out of games and even two games into the campaign there is already word of them not being able to make it this weekend. As soon as they are offically "out" of the campaign (they have to miss a few games first) ill let you know but at this point we are over the DM's player limit.

the good news though is we have a great DM with 20 years of experence, tuns of custom content and a well thought out plot ( atleast the little we have seen so far) we are playing in a custom forgotten realms campaign (with planeswalking at some point knowing our DM) and a great bunch of guys. So please check back soon.

I had tried to put together an older D&D game in Bucks County a while ago. There was limited response and I was unable to put it together. It would be a high level campaign using older rules and lots of dice rolling...good stuff. If there is sufficient interest I would be more then happy to host and run a game. Just shoot me an email directly if you are interested or pass this along to people who might be. I wound up purchasing a lot of material and haven't been able to use it yet.

Anyone in the area looking to put together or join a weekly 4E group? I currently have 3 people including my self that are interested in playing. I can DM a standard/custom setting or play.

i'd be interested depending on how far from philly and when the games would be run, really looking forward to checking out 4e
