We were just at the point where the party was discussing bullrushing Volke into the unknown position of possibly non existent traps and me sitting there laughing as you all die in some entertaining fashion.

That was all out of character. In character, we were at this point:
Volke folds his arms in front of him. So you cam here on a whim, hoping ther would be treasure, but not knowing for sure, ending up getting lost, and not caring what happens to you? What if that had been a REAL aspect of Tiamat? What then? You'd be dead. Is that right? Volke lets out a sigh. Look, as much as we could use the help, unless you can prove yourselves to us, then you're going to have to start small and work your way up the chain. At the moment, the unofficial leader is stuck inside that fane, and so we need to get him out. At the moment, we're just two people He motions to Elina and himself, Who happen to have come across two travelers. We could take you along with us, but we would only do that if we know that these travelers are going to help us, not sentence us to death. So, what do you think, can you handle it? Volke suddenly drops his hands, and walks over to Dawn's pile of weapons, looking through and examining them all. Muttering to himself under his breath, he thoroughly inspects them all, checking for quality, and damage potential. |

Elina rolled her eyes and resisted the urge to sigh. He thought that they were foolish for coming here? Considering how bad he had gotten beaten earlier in the fane you would think that he would remember who came first. People looking to stop an evil wyrmlord could wind up just as dead as people looking for treasure. This whole thing had started when the group was paid to clean out the keep; all this started just for 700gp per person. Besides they were all adventures and that sort of thing was what adventurers did; risk their lives for money.
As for the sentence them to death thing; a persons own actions and the actions of the enemy had more to do with that then your team members. Unless of course they did something really stupid. Of course the real question now was whether she should interfere and irritate Volke further or just humor him. After all who did he think he was kidding? They needed all the help that they could get. |

Satisfied with Dawn's weapons, Volke turns to the other traveler. Okay, he checks out. What about you? You said your name was Siedvrich or something? What weapons do you have to deal damage with? Or do you decimate enemies with magical prowess? Volke's face is completely emotionless, if anything showing irritation. He could sense discomfort in Elina, but that didn't matter for now. At least she was letting him go through with his inspection. What he was actually looking for was any kind of item that maye seem safe, but is really a danger to the two of them. He owed her his life, as much as he hated to admit it. He wasn't going to let her die while it was his turn on watch.

Well, yeah, I know it is, but it's not possible during a fight really. I mean, if we had taken a break elsewhere, then I probably would have started stuff. These things don't just happen. They represent key points in a characters life.

Crap, sorry, I just realized that I kinda killed it.
I think I'm going to RP as Ned. Ned is scaly, and he has a big mouth with sharp teeth, and he has a snake tail. He is human. Ned is coppery red in color. Ned has an icon of a red yuan-ti abomination around his neck and has a habit of gripping it (and he holds it in his hands when he prays) Ned likes to eat small animals. |

Im pretty sure lots of people do. Darrak, Cleric of Fharlanghn, prefers rabbit.
Darrak is quite an average dwarf, the difference is mostly inside. Unlike most dwarves, he would prefer to wander into the unknown than be safe beside his clan mates. He has a beautifully crafted silver holy symbol, which is rather plain, and dedicates him to Fharlanghn. He is rather tall, for a dwarf, at about 4' 5'', and he weighs about 200 pounds. He is covered in Full Plate, although it doesnt look like it, and carries a Quarterstaff as his main weapon. He prefers it to any other, although he is skilled with an assortment of more deadly weapons. He prefers to use his divine spells to heal, due to his peaceful and rather unconfrontational point of view. He is exploring and adventuring for mostly new experiences, and his goal is to craft a legacy lasting through the ages, such as the most Beautiful of Dwarven Jewelry. He hopes it will be one of peace and tranquility to be remembered during the troubling times which always occur. Notes which arent really RP: His Quarterstaff is enchanted at one end (we start with 19000, this costs a total of 8000), becoming a +1 Spell Storing Quaterstaff on one end, and a normal masterwork Quarterstaff on the other. His Plate is Glamered to look like simple clothing. This costs an extra 2700 (+1000 for the +1 bonus so it can be enchanted) above what normal masterwork plate would cost, so 5000 gold. He also has a Cloak of Resistance +1. His Ranged Weapon is a Masterwork Heavy Crossbow. He currently has 100 bolts for it. Inside a Hewards Haversack, 200 ft of Silk Rope, a healers Kit, basic Clothes (which he wears under armour) 4 waterskins, (2 full of dwarven ale, 2 Full of water) , some rations, a dagger (with a slipcover to prevent rupture), a masterwork dwarven war axe (with a slipcover to prevent rupture), an everburning torch. He has 2050 gold, also in the Haversack. |

Siona is a pale, thin human. Her hair is a dark, reddish brown and her eyes are grey She weighs 87 pounds and is 6'2. (Visage of the Dead, lost half total body weight, and Ross, Mindless undead do not attack me )She seems depressed or angry almost all the time (Eternally bound to Tenebrous, his influence makes her feel an inexplicable sense of loss) She enjoys darkness, breaking bones, and ordering people around (Charisma ftw) She wears mithral chain and has a whip made of water (Thanks Graeme ) |
