This will be my first time at this event. I prefer to DM, but if that's not possible I might remember how to do roll only once a round. I can start a pick up game of 4E if there are too many people for the games that are planned.

Sounds like a lot of new players. I'll get a 4th edition adventure prepared to run (1st level), if people are interested. I'll bring some pre gen characters, but people are free to bring any 1st level they want.

I happen to be off tomorrow! So if I can on the bus and make it there, I'll be there. This will be my first one so is there anything need to bring? I haven't played in many years.

Does anyone have an open slot for a new 4th edition player? If so, what level is the campaign running at?

What level (4th edition) are people playing at the meetup?

Oh great, thank you, Sarah. That helps. I understand that some of the sessions might fill up quick, so is there a sign up or something ahead of time?

To answer some questions: This event is perfect for new players, those who want to try out a new system, and folks who want to meet gamers in the area. It's good to bring a pre-made character if you can, as well as dice and rulebooks, but it's not required. Most players are really generous and helpful in this regard. The Saturday morning session is very popular and fills up quick. The evening session is usually more open. I'm not sure about Sunday. Hope that helps!

While I've played many times with friends, I've never played in this type of forum. On that note, should I bring a premade character?
