Introduction

This is my Second Profile because my first was accidently deleted. I have been playing D&D since grade school. I have a sit back attitude toward DM'ing style. I run a very free flowing game where it is up to the characters to keep things moving.

How far are you willing to travel to play consitantly?

I go to the Mainland sometimes to play.

What D&D game system do you want to play?

D&D 3.5 but i am slowly getting into 4.0.

Are you willing and able to DM for an adventuring group?

I am a DM (evil Grin) and I'm looking for active gamers who like to keep track of ongoing stories, clues and information.

Additional Information

"An Educational professional is looking for enthusiastic gamers for group to play in private home in Mililani area. I am looking for 4-6 players preferably on the weekend to partake in a miniature intensive role playing experience. Experienced Dungeon Master would prefer mature, over the age of 18 players, no experience necessary and willing to teach. DM is friendly however not very forgiving when dealing with rude or obnoxious individuals. I use the 3.5 rules. I prefer traditional races and classes fitting a fantasy setting along the line of good races and alignment. Be prepared to bring a miniature and character history. Which i will more than likely change. Will start a group when have a minimum of four players. . If interested email me. Since so many are interested in what the campaign is about I?ll attempt to illuminate you all. Try to think of a land similar to ?13th Warrior?, cold, wet, misty, and a bit mystical. The land is much like a fantasy Pacific Northwest surrounded by towering mountains. The theme of the campaign is one of discovering what was once lost. The adventuring and reclaiming of a homeland from the grip of unknown evil; which displaced the original occupants in the long distant past. Finding and keeping a stronghold plays heavily in this campaign. The majority of adventure shall take place underground in tombs, caves, and dungeons. The largest of cities are week?s away leaving only destitute farmsteads and towns available. Dwarven characters will have a heavy advantage in storyline bonuses. In other words the dwarves play heavily upon the overall theme and story line. However it shall be fun for all the goodly races and not necessary to play a dwarf. This campaign has a core rule basic feel to it with all the basic deities and races. I use all the complete series of books, all the races books except for the Races of dragon book. Alignments need to be slanted toward the good or rather non evil spectrum. Of course no races that have an ELC adjustment. My advice is to use the basic races from the PHB until the party is of higher level and you get a chance to discuss your ideals with me. Everyone shall start at 1st level. Character creation is determined by buying your attributes using the high-powered (31) point buy system from page 169 of the DMG. I also use the traits from Unearthed Arcana, followed with the optional flaws from the same book. This tends to make powerful 1st level characters. But trust me you?ll need it. Most thinking parties tend to survive, however parties slanted toward just hack and slash don?t last long. I also use an official optional rule for turning undead which so far all players have preferred. I use an open rolling so you?ll pretty much see my dice rolls, so I expect people to role-play the results as if not knowing the outcome (rouges). Overall recurring theme is one of good verses evil. Right decisions verses wrong. Nothing is random in my campaign; every encounter is placed for a purpose. That purpose could be to test your characters morals, or to further the story line. So don?t be surprised if your characters are rewarded accordingly by their choices. This is more information I have ever given to a starting level group, normally takes them a while to figure out what is going on. Furthermore I truly believe that a DM?s job is not to take sides. I won?t try to kill off characters. My job is to tell a story with the characters as the stars. However that doesn?t mean your character is invincible; you do something stupid they will perish. And sometimes rolls just suck. Like life. I also use many props, such as artwork and drawings. I also use many miniatures, terrain, and visual aids. "
