This Message board is for DM or Game Masters who are looking for a game or players. Please state your availability, which system you prefer to run, your style of DM’n, and any other comments. Hope this post will turn into a more efficient way for players to communicate and acquire role playing opportunities. Further more update you profile and you availability for your game or campaign, this way you will not be solicited by unwanted emails. Ok thought I would contribute to the link. I run a long term campaign on Saturdays in central Oahu, in Mililani to be exact. We play 3.5 in a traditional campaign, because I hate all the weird character races and classes. So no half vampire ninja monkeys allowed. I have been running the campaign for a few years with a large flux of players; however they finally have arrived at 10th level. We play from noon to late. I have many military personnel join so the players come and go, so be prepared for different faces at the table. I keep a record on this message board for those who missed a session or just joined in. There are many clues placed inside the story. I have a couple of long term players. And I am always curious about other campaigns going on around the island.

I am currently running the Deepmountain Campaign.



Since so many are interested in what the campaign is about I'll attempt to illuminate you all. Try to think of a land similar to 13th Warrior, cold, wet, misty, and a bit mystical. The land is much like a fantasy Pacific Northwest surrounded by towering mountains. The theme of the campaign is one of discovering what was once lost. The adventuring and reclaiming of a homeland from the grip of unknown evil; which displaced the original occupants in the long distant past. Finding and keeping a stronghold plays heavily in this campaign. The majority of adventure shall take place underground in tombs, caves, and dungeons. The largest of cities are week’s away leaving only destitute farmsteads and towns available. Dwarfen characters will have a heavy advantage in storyline bonuses. In other words the dwarves play heavily upon the overall theme and story line. However it shall be fun for all the goodly races and not necessary to play a dwarf. This campaign has a core rule basic feel to it with all the basic deities and races.

We are on hiatus until we find a core number of players again, however we are playing a 4E game.

Currently I am running a 4E game/campaign to learn the rules. This is to gear up for the RPGA living system to play at “Other Realms” during “Game Days”. However as of now my group is grudgingly playing every other week while I share the DM responsibility with another DM who runs a 3.5 “Shackled City” campaign (they like 3.5). You’re free to contact me if interested in joining, however we have an email process for each new applicant to go through and our spots are available based on how many players we have currently.

Hello, my name is David, and I am an old school DM. I still play 2nd ed. I have a friend who DM's as well and we are looking for some players. We are available for Saturdays and can start in the afternoon and play until evening (1pm-7pm or 8pm). It doesn't matter if you have never played or not. I encourage heavy role playing, and enjoy the story telling process. I will try to immerse the players in their characters and the plot, hopefully weaving words into a grand tapestry of a campaign.
