Introduction
Hello! My name's Kyle, and have been a sporadically active member of this group since 2004. I'm 31 and live in Jension with my wife, infant daughter, and two cats. D&D has been my RPG mainstay, but have enjoyed Marvel, TMNT, GURPS, and many others.
What year did you first start playing D&D or AD&D?

My interest in D&D started with the '80s cartoon and the blitz of toys, stickers, and other goodies that accompanied it. My first game was with a friend, DMed by his brother, when I was 11 or 12.

What's your favorite character race & class to play?

I enjoy quirky character race and class combinations and tinkering with variant abilities. In recent years, I've played lots of melee-types, some clerics, and the occasional scoundrel. I have the least amount of experience with arcane spellcasters.

What are the best days and time for you to game?

Weekends are busy due to family and church events. As of May 2008, I'm going to be playtesting Paizo's Pathfinder RPG rules on Thursday nights.

What type of campaign (Hack-n-Slash, Role-Playing, etc.) do you prefer?

Like most others, I think, a good mix of both is preferable. I like games where the characters have histories rooted in the campaign world as well as big, splashy action sequences.

Are there any other game systems that you've played, and are willing to play?

I've wanted to play Mutants and Masterminds for a long time. d20 Modern is also fun, though I've had only a little exposure to it.

My Meetup Groups

  •  The location is unusual in that it offers parking in the downtown G.R. area, clean and well-lit areas in which to game, and both munchies and gaming products for sale. I've met some excellent people through the Meetups, as well.

Greetings

  •  I saw your photo... my wife got her nursing degree at Hope. I think its a nice school, she thought it was a little too Dutch (being an out of state transplant, I am not sure what that means).

  •  Kyle is one of my favorite role players. He's an asset to any campaign, and a terrific DM!

  •  One of the best role players I have seen. He knows the rules but isnt a lawyer, which makes him epic cool.

  •  Kyle doesn't suck, and I hardly say that about anyone.
