I'm hosting a newbie friendly pathfinder game this Wednesday night at my home in Rancho Cordova. Pathfinder is essential Paizo's fix to 3.5 D&D. The game play is almost the same, but there is a fair bit of change to class features.
5:00 pm Introductions, setup, and making characters
6:00 pm start playing
10:30 pm end

I have 3 players so far, and I have room for up to 3 more.

Doh! Man this is just what I was looking for, but I have to work in San Jose all day and won't get back in time. Keep us posted if anything changes; wish I could attend.

Zerm sorry you couldn't make it this week, we look forward to having you over next week. It was nice chatting with you, and I would suggest you check out the meetup so you can meet more of the local gamers.

I Just checked the boards after getting back in town from Pacific con.
Its unfortutly to late for me to make this first session tonight but if
you are not full I might be interested in joining. Now are we takling
offical pathfinder society( there version of RPGA) or just lose gaming.

The first game went very well, and we have room for more people. This game is not an offical pathfinger society game, and for the time being isn't even a AP module. I wrote the adventure myself and it's based in Forgotten Realms, so far the group has solved the mysterious murders of a small village, cleansed the church of Sagojan Earthcaller, and cleared out a small haunted mine.

This game is mostly about helping some new and rusty players get into D&D. Should it turn into a regular game I will probably run Council of Thieves AP (adventure path).

Send me an E-mail if you interested in Playing, Thanks.
