I've been having to drive quite a ways to reach all of my previous games. I live in Elk Grove and driving to Davis or up to Citrus Heights frequently is taking a bit of a toll. I am hoping to find a consistent game to attend around my area - the Elk Grove region, hopefully no more than 30 minutes of communing distance from here. I live roughly around Laguna and Bruceville / Big Horn crossing.
D&D players seem scarce around this area, but I figure it wouldn't hurt to ask. Hopefully there are groups forming or ones formed that can allow a player. I have minor experience with nearly all existing editions of D&D and can adapt accordingly. I have the 3.5, Pathfinder, and 4th ed. books readily at hand. Please contact me in post or email! Metropolis comics is right across the street from cosumnes river college next to the target. thats where I go. We can also start another dnd meetup at another time id like to do a 3.5 ed . |

I've been to Metro Comix, but it doesn't look like they really have static GMs with games there. I did run into a game on Saturday, but by 5 pm they were full with 8 people. I'm all for starting a game, but the problem is finding a GM :P

Give Metropolis some time. The owner, Chris, seems to still be finding his way. It is light on D&D games, but it is great for comics. I have been meaning to hit it up one of these Saturday's but been too busy with my kids. Besides, it may be hard for me to join a game. I am a complete newbie to 4th Ed. I do have printed copies of the four main books. But they are printed copies, not the actual book itself. I havn't played since 2nd edition back in highschool, which was a long time ago. Thanks.
