Details

After a 6 month hiatus the Monthly Meetup is back with reinforcements. With the recent influx of new members and GMs we will be starting a monthly open gaming event called Game Day.

Game Day is open to all players. Anyone that is a member, whether in a gaming group or not, is welcome.

This month we have people set up to run an Eberron 3.5 game and a card game called Illuminati.
When you RSVP please note if you would like to play in either of these two games.

There will be many other board and card games available. If you would like to volunteer to run a different game please email us.

Barbeque will be provided, however please do bring something to share with the group.

Mike wanted to play Arkham Horror, and it's also Mike's favorite! So Mike, Mike, Raymond and myself are thinking of Illuminati, BBQ, then Arkham Horror. We'll probably just play a fixed amount of time for each game -- no ketchup on the Illuminati cards! (:

It looks like we'll have a full house so I will officially be GMing my first game ever! I know, I can't believe I'm finally doing it.... It will be a one shot Shadowrun 4th Ed with pre-gen characters. Bring your tech know how and quick thinking because this will be a fast paced game set in the future full of action, fights, and lots of really cool guns.

Hi Clay! Did you get my email? My friend was interested in joinging, but he's more interested in Illuminati than D&D. After Illuminati, I'd like to host some other SJG games. I have Illuminati: Crimelords and other games!

There is no need to role up characters as all games should have pre gens for the players.

I am interested in an Eberron game. Do we roll up characters there or can I pre-roll one at home?

We have another event we are committed to at that time, we are hoping it fills up and we can give our spots to someone else.

The Cogs is just a name for our house. If you are not eating then no you don't have to bring anything. But it has been a long time since I've seen someone not snack on anything at a game. I plan on there being alot of RPG gaming at least 2 full games right now. Might need to expand to 3.

I've never been to a meeting of this group. I have questions. Whom do I ask? Here they are. 1. if I'm not eating, do I have to bring food? 2. what is The Cogs? How much RPG gaming goes on, in general? Do I need the Eberron book? What is the meaning of life? Who shot J.R.? Where am I? Pie, anyone?

"Game day was a blast! At one point there were so many different games going on that I just wandered around and listened to a little piece of each one. People had a lot of fun and made good connections. I don't think anyone felt left out or bored at any point. Thanks again! :D"

"Great party! Glad to have played my old favorite, Illuminati, the first time in ten or so years. I'm glad to have introduced Arkham Horror to the group (and thanks for rounding them up!). I like how they're more willing to take chances than my regular boardgames groups!"

  • Jennifer
