"Just heard about meeup.com and Im looking to find a game and meet people with similar interests. Been playing D&D off and on for nearly 30 years as both player and DM."

What is your favorite Fantasy Novel or Series?

"Im a big time fantasy reader and my favorites change. One of my several times read favorite series is Katherine Kurtz Deryni novels."

Who is your favorite Fantasy/Sci-Fi author? Why?

"Current favorite author is Anne Bishop. I really like the darker edge that she has in her novels, and the un-standard 'callow youth must grow and save the world' storylines."

Who was your favorite character that you have played or are playing?

"In my high-school days I played a fighter/druid character for several years and was my first real experience at creating a growing and changing role play character."

What is your favorite D&D moment?

"A tense moment when Strahd von Zarovich (orig Ravenloft mod) blasted open the town chuch/temple doors coming after our characters due to some trick we pulled on him. The DM played Straud perfect and that scene and ensuing battle still sticks with me"
