I'm located in Royal Oak and looking to either get into, or start, preferably a Castles & Crusades game. If I run I'd plan on running biweekly on Wednesday evenings. If I play I'm good with any night Monday-Thursday. Email me at jreyst@gmail.com if you would like to talk more about this :)

John

ps- I'm running 3 Castles & Crusades sessions at this falls U-Con on Saturday. Stop by and play!

Heya John:

I'm trying to figure out my schedule for the near future, but I am very interested in a weeknight (other than Tuesday and Friday) game. Wednesday evenings (would probably be avail some time around 5pm after work?) may be just about perfect, actually. Only problem I might have would be the frequency of sessions.

I game every Tuesday night as it is, which is close to max for me to be away from my family. Time is so freakin valuable, eh? I also joined Michael Bauser's 1st ed Saturday game a few weeks back, and will be attending any of those that I can swing, although that may only be once a month for me. Still working that out too.

Anyway, I'm gonna check on my schedule and such and see if I can actually confirm my availability for your C&C game. I have not played C&C, but I understand a little about it's mechanics, and the hybrid of oldschool/newschool it employs. I think I actually have the Players Book too, in some bin in storage. I'll dig that out and take a look.

I know you responded to my topic here on the B/X or other old ed game proposal, so maybe this will work out for that purpose.

So, sorta count me in...but don't hate me if I have to back-out...ha!

Hit ya back here soon with a better feel for my availability.

Hey - No worries. If I can't find an old-school game to drop into I'd be happy building a list of potential C&C players for a game I would run. Why don't you stop by the Yahoo Group I started for SE Mich C&C players. There's little to no conversation on there right now and it is delightfully spam-free (for now). Once I see how many people we have we can work out the logistics. The group is at http://games.groups.y...

Thanks!

I'd noticed those in the U-Con event catalog, actually. If I'm in town for U-Con (it's hard to predict my travel schedule that far ahead, unfortunately), I plan to give the game a try.

By the way, John, I just sent you an e-mail about my 1E game!

I e-mailed you about my Saturday afternoon 1E game, and you said Saturdays were bad for you. (It happens.) If your Saturdays free up and you're still looking for a game, though, feel free to send me a message.

You aren't, by chance, playing anything tomorrow night are you? My regularly scheduled game was canceled at the last minute so now I'm flailing about trying to figure out how I'm going to get my RP fix. I'm available basically 5pm - whenever.

I'm now signed up for the morning C&C session at U-Con. So if my job doesn't mess up my schedule that week, I finally get to use the Players Handbook that girl in the chainmail bikini made me buy 2 years ago!

Michael - While the vast majority of the rules are the same I am actually going to be playtesting my class-rewrites.

You can see what I have at the moment at...

http://sites.google.c...

Look under the Class Rewrites link on the left. I am doing a complete class rebuild due to multiple issues I have with how they are constructed in the core rules. I was planning to create pregens for people to choose when they sit down but if you'd like to get an idea ahead of time as to what you might want to play that's fine too.

Well, I got to play in John's morning C&C game at U-Con, and had a good, rollicking time. C&C's alright!

You run a good game, John! Thanks!
