Our group is plodding toward the conclusion of the first chapter in the Savage Tide adventure path. We're learning all kinds of things about the dynamics of tabletop roleplaying that other kinds of games just can't pull off: like blowback, and revenge, and character assassination. We're learning that it's hard being good. We're learning that sometimes it's better to move forward even when you're not 100% because the bad guys can regroup too, if you let them. These and other happy lessons (hopefully, including the rewards of a job well done!) as we come through the conclusion of "There Is No Honor." So! I know this is a late announcement for my group. I ask my players to please RSVP by Thursday noon and please be sure to check this site and check your email to find out if we are going forward with the session. We need 4 to play or we kick the can down the road a week. Thanks!

Announcing a Dungeons and Dragons Miniatures Tournament
--Experience level required: none
--Tournament type: Sealed booster event
--Format: Assault rules, standard 60-minute Swiss rounds (everything will be explained at the store)
--Cost: $35 (Not bad for a full day of playing, two boosters of minis that retail at $14.99 each, promotional items and prizes for the top players)
Where: Top Deck in Coldwater, Michigan (next to Tibbits Opera House on Hanchett Street, about 35-45 minutes from Kalamazoo)
When: July 7, noon start time
Who: You, we hope. I'm expecting between 8 and 20 gamers. RSVP to reserve your spot.
Why: To have fun, to learn the D&D Miniatures rules if you don't already know them, to get cool prizes, to see new minis, and to have more fun

A taxidermist and a druid walk into a bar... Following up on the previous session of awesome roleplay I expect the next session will be more classically hack n' slash, if you all can figure out a way to come back together. For future reference, I suggest that you come up with a rally point before commencing operations, for future eventualities. Same bat time, same bat channel, but I want to find out from you at the session if you care to give the BC location a try.

We can still take up one or two new players on a first come, first serve basis. If there is enough surplus interest, though, we can always come up with some way to accommodate you. Hit the message boards and/or come to a meeting to let us know you're looking for a group. Current players of this Savage Tide campaign sure don't want to miss out on this one, though. It'll be action packed and rewarding.
