Heya folks. Been running a 4e campaign weekends with my family. It's been great fun, but they are all new to rpg's, and I haven't got a chance to be a player in 4e yet. Seeing as thay are all very new to the mechanics (and I'm not a very experienced dm) there isn't a lot of role playing going on. So I'm putting out feelers to see if there's a bi-weekly 4e game out there I could join, maybe meets on friday evenings or some such? Hopefully low level, but I've got a few years of d&d under my belt, so I could handle starting mid level. Maybe someone wants to start a group? I want to try to get to the next meetup, unfortunetly this month's meet is the same day as family game day

A friend and I have been trying to get a group together for a while. He's off Friday evenings and, having two children under 3, my Fridays are pretty open. I think bi-weekly would work for him.
I can run. Or not. I prefer switching it up because I enjoy playing too. I've got a couple of ideas for short campaigns. Mainly I like to give something a shot and see if it sticks, rather than trying commit everyone to some long-term thing that fails to register on the fun meter. I'm a bit of a hippie, indie gamer. But all that means, in 4e terms, is getting inventive with Quests, Action Points and Skill Challenges. I get to game so rarely, having two small children and a current group of friends that meet only once every three months or so. Mostly I just like to have fun. And for me that means everybody getting together, rolling some dice and having a great time. |

I too am possible interested in joining in on a friday game (alternating fridays?). I personally am involved in several games but another friend of mine has not been able to play much and is looking to get back into it as well. I was unable to go to the meetup yesterday but if you are interested I'd be happy to meet with you in the evenings sometime to say hi/hello. Currently my Monday nights and Thursday nights are out (Tuesdays used to be closed but are open again).
If you were at the Meet-up Christian may have mentioned me. I (used) to run the Tuesday night Delve Night games at Battleforge. Sadly WotC is no longer supporting Delve Night, at least for the time being (they apparently had to re-think their Re-Launch they originally had planned to start here in July). Matthew |

Excellent. Things are shaping up. Every other friday evening would be a fantastic schedule for me, as the wife works nights so she's not around to be disturbed. I have a decent sized table and a pretty good amount of space at my place, so we can have it here if we need to, however I am in deep south austin. Let me know what you guys think, maybe we can hammer out a date? This week is off, I have previously scheduled engagements, but next week and thereafter I have a pretty open calendar of fridays!

Erk, Southern Austin. I'm in Round Rock and work in Cedar Park and know how much of a nightmare it is to get cross town on a Friday evening (I have family in San Antonio and for a time tried to drive down on Fridays to play Battletech with some friends and then would hang out with my folks for the weekend, I had to give it up cause it just took too long <and too much gas> getting through Austin. It was easier simple to wait till 7-8:00 before leaving, saved gas and still got their about the same time as I would have if I sat in traffic).

I don't know if there is space for one more, but I would also be interested in joining in. I think I met you at last week's meetup, I was playing the other warlord.

If ya'll have room for two more, my girlfriend and I would be interested in attending. She's never played 4E before, just 3.5, but some of ya'll met me playing the ranger at the meetup at the start of the week. Sadly, I promised her I'd find her a 4E game, so if there arn't 2 spots open, I can't attend.

I would be interested in playing if there is room for 1 more. I met you and your wife at the June meet-up. I was playing the Dragonborn fighter. I live in Dripping Springs, so south Austin works great for me.
