Hi all,
I've scheduled a Meet-Up for Sunday, October 18, 2009 at Battleforge Games at 12:15 p.m.
1E/2E Game
Interested in some old school AD&D? If so, you are in luck. Todd once again will be running a 1E/2E game for those interested. Over the past several Meet-Ups, the 1E/2E game seems to have attracted a loyal following. Come and find out why.
4E Game
I will be prepared to run a 4E one-shot adventure for 3rd level characters. Those interested in playing should bring a third-level character, dice, and the rule books necessary to run your character. If you have a mini, bring it too (though I'll have some available for use during the game as well). Characters may start with one 4th-level magic item, one 3rd-level magic item, and one 2d-level magic item (in addition to normal starting equipment for 3rd level).
R.S.V.P.s
My understanding is that Matthew also will be running his Sunday 4E campaign at Battleforge the same day. So, to help us plan ahead, it would be much appreciated if those who R.S.V.P. would please indicate whether you are interested in Todd's 1E/2E game, my 4E one-shot adventure, or are attending Matthew's 4E campaign. For those R.S.V.P.ing for my 4E one-shot adventure, you also may want to indicate what sort of character you will be playing (class-wise) to ensure that the party is well-balanced.
Interested in DMing at a Future Meet-Up?
The Meet-Up is a great way to find like-minded players. If you are a DM in search of new blood for your campaign, I heartily recommend running a one-shot adventure at a future Meet-Up. Prospective DMs are welcome to run any edition of Dungeons and Dragons (or even other fantasy systems). Attendees at recent Meet-Ups have indicated some interest in seeing a 3.5 game offered, for example. If interested in DMing, e-mail me.
I hope to see you at the Meet-Up.
Christian
