Our group consists of only three people (myself included), and we're all getting a bit tired of playing multiple PCs.

We currently have 3 games going, one for each tier of play. All of the settings are "Points of Light", and mostly homebrew. We play generally every Sunday in the afternoon, with the amount of actual time varying based on the game and other plans.. We usually play in Arnold, but we sometimes play in South City near Jamieson. We're all in our late 20's, and we do have lives outside of the game. biggrin

Basically, we're looking for 2-3 people who are interested in casually playing D&D 4E and aren't crazy people. On that note, the following should apply to you:

* You realize your character is imaginary, and you and he are not one and the same. If your character dies accidentally, I won't wake up to find a paper mache griffin head covered in red food coloring in my bed.
* You don't freak out if we can't game EVERY week due to personal/life issues.

Here is a brief breakdown of each game:

Heroic Campaign: We are former military members who have basically gone AWOL from our country in search of fame, fortune, and adventure in a country to the north. Unbeknownst to us, a cabal of Wunderkkind mages has thrown the country into turmoil, most noticeably the strange way in which time passes (e.g. after two hours of sunrise, the sky goes to full moon at midnight). We are trying to find the tombs of the mages that were around the last time events like this happened and set
things right.

Paragon Campaign (my game): The adventurers played through Keep on the Shadowfell and after arriving in Winterhaven to celebrate and rest, they awaken to find themselves in the desert with no memories of the last ten years. While aboard a caravan, a pharoah's son has been kidnapped by a brown dragon, and the party must rescue him while being pursued by orc raiders thirsty for blood.

Epic Campaign: The story for this one is a little convoluted but the reader's digest version is this: we were badasses that tried to take out a Cthulhu-like entity with the help of a warlock and cleric. The cleric, sensing failure, sent us into the future to save our lives, while the mage was possessed by the BBEG. We arrive in the future and must fight the empire that has sprung up over the past 200 years. The standing joke is that our characters are Abe Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, and Teddy Roosevelt brought back to fight Future Nazis.

In terms of roles, that's kind of up in the air. Like I said in my ad, we're all playing multiple characters right now. The Heroic game for example is 2 defenders, 1 Striker, and 1 Leader. The Paragon game has 6 characters (one of our members moved away when we started this game): 1 Leader, 3 Strikers, 1 Defender, and 1 Controller. The Epic tier game has 2 Strikers, a Leader, and a Defender. This can be shuffled around to accomodate new players and lessen the need for people to play multiple characters.

In terms of character introduction, ease of introduction from easiest to hardest would be P>H>E. Paragon game they are at a resting point in a large oasis, so dropping and picking up characters wouldn't be that big of a deal. In Epic,we'd have to handwave away one of our current characters, which really isn't all of a big deal.

Interested players don't have to play in all 3 games; you can play only in the ones that interest you. If that sounds like you, drop me a line.
