The FEBRUARY 2008 MEETING of the AZ Mages' Guild takes place at the Imperial Outpost, our semi-headquarters on 51st Ave and T-Bird in NW Phoenix. I'd really-a-lot appreciate it if we can actually throw enough people together to meet this month, so check your calendars and dig out your books; please RSVP if you can attend.

RSVP Instructions: In addition to your vote on the boards, please RSVP via e-mail (design_by_xs@yahoo.com) or at my cell if you have it. If not, please e-mail me to get my e-card that has all of my contact numbers and e-mail addresses. I'd rather not post all of that data here, for the whole world to sell. :-)

Please notify BY PHONE me if your RSVP changes if at all possible. I need to get phone numbers for ALL members so that I may call anyone who RSVPs "Yes to Attend" in case I'm running late, or in case of an emergency cancellation or change in venue.

Meeting Details:

Not only do we have our own game at meetings now, but there are plenty of other games to join at Imperial during our meetings, though if you're just popping in to kibitz, that's perfectly fine as well.

When you come in, please look for me (Xi) or, if I'm not there, look for Cris. I'm usually towards the back, and have long blonde hair and beard with glasses (for those who've never met me 'afore). If I'm not there, it means that I'm running late and Cris should be there to fill in until I arrive. He's the bloke with long dark hair, a salt/pepper beard, and always looks like he's hatching a diabolical plot (probably true).

If in doubt, please call my cell. You only get this by CONTACTING ME FIRST, so if you haven't done so, please send me a message with your name/number and I'll send my e-card to you in reply. I don't share anyone's contact info with anyone else (even other members without first asking implicit permission from all parties).

Therefore, you don't have to worry about (Lawful or Chaotic) Evil Telemarketers calling you up at 10PM while you're sitting down to SG-1, to sell you stuff you don't want, or imagine anyone who could ever want it either. Your number and e-mail address are safe in my hands. :)

Meeting Agenda and Timescale:

7:00PM (19:00H) - Arrivals & Set-Up
7:30PM (19:30H) - Introductions
8:00PM (12:00H) - Promotional Items, Raffles, Other Business
9:00PM (21:00H) - Games Begin
10:00PM (22:00H) - Games Pause / Break Time
10:15PM (22:15H) - Discussions
10:45PM (23:45H) - Games Resume
11:50PM (23:00H) - Games Break
12-Midnight (00:00H) - Meeting Closing Remarks
Post-Midnight - Multiple Choice Possibilities as follows:

The store officially closes at Midnight, but usually is open later. If so, we often game as late as 1AM, but this is tentative on the staff sticking around for us. If not, we may simply adjourn, or relocate to a restaurant or café, or even Oasis if we have enough willing participants with whom to do so.

P.S. Don't forget to bring plenty of pens, pencils and snacks and as always, be sure to have a blast!

P.P.S. The Optional Contribution will go towards paying for the site, which now costs a ton of money per year, plus group supplies, parties, room rentals for meetups and so on. None of it goes to my pocket; Not a cent!
