Join us once again this year as we explore a desolate region of Faerûn with this year’s Weekend in the Realms! Bring your existing 1st-4th level Living Forgotten Realms character to play this exclusive, one-time adventure called “The Icy Queen’s Crossing”, written by Shawn Merwin. Set in the cold northern realm of Narfell, the 4-hour adventure takes place in the aftermath of the events depicted in the new Forgotten Realms novel The Fall of Highwatch, which releases on November 4. This is the very first time we’ve done an adventure with a novel tie-in, and we sincerely hope to do more in the future! Here’s the adventure’s description:

The Icy Queen’s Crossing

In a region so dangerous that even the most savage of Nar tribes fear trespassing there, a group of heroes has a chance to change the face of a war-torn land. This adventure has locations and characters from the Forgotten Realms novel The Fall of Highwatch. A Weekend in the Realms exclusive adventure set in Narfell for Living Forgotten Realms characters levels 1-4.

All the materials a DM will need to run the adventure will be provided in the kit, including a double-sided poster map of all the encounters, a sheet of tokens to represent characters and monsters, and (of course) a 16-page adventure with a full-color cover featuring the art from the novel. And if you’re a player that doesn’t have a Living Forgotten Realms character, you can either create one on-site (character creation rules are provided in the kit) or use one of 6 pre-generated characters presented on full-color, double-sided character cards.

Bring your friends and join in the fun as we celebrate the release of Dungeon Master's Guide 2, packed with new options for your Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition game.

In the spirit of Dungeon Mastering, we're giving you the opportunity to create and show off your very own adventure! Work as a team to build encounters using the materials provided. After your team has finished, play another team's adventure or DM the one your team created. We provide you with everything you need -- maps, miniatures, monster stats, and how-to instructions. Just bring your imagination, a pencil or pen, and some dice!

Just for playing, you'll take home the pregenerated character sheet and a miniature of the character you played. If you DM the game, you'll take home a poster map of the encounter areas and a pack of monster miniatures used in the adventure.

This is a very special activity that has never before been a part of Worldwide D&D Game Day! But don't worry if you just want to play; you can participate in as much or as little of the adventure-building activity as you want. Nothing, however, beats the satisfaction of hearing another team howl in terror as they fight the foes and traps you placed for them!

A Passage Into Mystery is a special team-created 6th-level adventure that uses tiles from DU3 Caves of Carnage and monsters from the Monster Manual: Legendary Evils miniatures expansion. Come out on September 19 and be a part of the adventure!

D&D Delve Day! It’s a monthly dungeoncrawl adventure that is separated into four encounters. Each encounter takes about 1–2 hours to complete. The encounters are meant to be played one per week, or as often as the organizer and DM agree to run them. Each encounter is displayed on a full-color cardstock sheet with all the information needed to DM the session right on the sheet. Players simply show up with characters of the appropriate level (or create them onsite) and jump right into the action!

As a player, you can get a weekly game of D&D in without having to worry about scheduling time with a group—simply show up at your play location with the appropriately leveled character (or make one onsite) and you’re ready to go.

Trading and borrowing is not permitted between players for this
event. The winner will be based upon highest point total.

Players cannot play the same opponent back to back. After each match
players will sign each others match list. Unsigned matches will NOT
be counted for points totals.

Oh Dear God: 40K Battle.

Expect the game to last at least 12 hours.

Description:
There is no rhyme or reason for the conflict raging on Alterus 7, a
non descript mudball floating in space.. Chaos fights side by side
with Imperial forces against Necrons teamed with Eldar. Reality has
run amok as the battle rages and old enemies become new allies. The
battle is joined on the outskirts Talnark 7 an ancient, city ruin
that no one owns but everyone seems to want. The terrain of the
planet ranges from volcanic plains brought about by the orbital
bombardment of massive star ships to the deadly jungles where even
space marines fear to tread.

Special Rules:

* Specific terrain will be clearly explained.
* 5000 points maximum per person.
* NO Minimum points needed to participate: You wanna join in and
play a platoon? Bring em!
* 3 super heavies max per person.
* No force organization chart enforcement.
* Once per turn vox casts will go out to each force commander.
Things may get VERY interesting upon the reciept of these communiques.
* Games does NOT end until one side is wiped out.
* Players coming in later as reinforcements will come in at the
top of a new round. They will roll a D6 for table entry and then draw
a number to determine which side they are coming in to reinforce.
